Sewing Bootcamp (Learn to Sew in One Day)

6 hour class in one day.

This course is meant for beginners with no previous sewing experience. We will cover:

• How to thread a sewing machine

• Overview of tools and equipment used in sewing 

• Basic stitches including straight straight stitch, zig-zag, and buttonholes 

• Different seam constructions 

• How to read a commercial pattern 

• How to properly prepare and cut fabric 

• How to sew a tote bag 

• How to sew an apron

James Chapman, Owner & Instructor

James is passionate about teaching and empowering students new skills. He has been sewing for over 15 years, and has worked as a fashion designer for over 12 years. He has showcased at New York Fashion Week, sold his designs to major retailers, and has designed for several major fashion brands.

• All supplies and materials are included. 

• Fabric is included for the tote bag and apron. 

• Sewing machines and tools are provided, however if you wish to bring your own you can.

Each course has a maximum of 8 students.
