​Together, they gained experience across nearly every aspect of the fashion industry. From creating high fashion couture runway garments to developing products for major retailers and national brands, they built careers rooted in design, technical development, and manufacturing. Their work has appeared in magazine editorials, been showcased at New York Fashion Week, and contributed to brands including Callaway Golf, PGA Tour, RYU Golf, Zumba Fitness, Macy's, Dillard's, White House Black Market, Anthropologie, and the Canadian Olympic Team.

In 2017, they relocated to South Florida and later founded Designable Fashion, a full-service apparel design, sourcing, and manufacturing company. Since its founding, Designable Fashion has helped launch and develop more than 200 apparel brands, giving the team firsthand insight into every stage of bringing products from concept to market.

After years of working with brands around the world, James recognized an opportunity to give back to the local creative community. South Florida Sewing Studio was created to make sewing and fashion education more accessible while building a welcoming space where people can learn, create, collaborate, and grow together.

Today, the studio offers beginner-friendly sewing and fashion classes, memberships, open studio access, workshops, and community events that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainable fashion. More than just a classroom, South Florida Sewing Studio is a creative home for makers, aspiring designers, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to experience the joy of creating something with their own hands.
