Learn the basics of crochet in this beginner-friendly Intro to Crochet class! You’ll learn how to get started on a crochet project, master basic stitches, and read crochet patterns with confidence. Put your new skills to work as you crochet a set of coasters while learning a variety of stitches that can be applied to countless crochet projects. No previous crochet experience is required, just come ready to learn and create!
This is a 2-hour course that meets once. Additional time stitching after class will be needed to finish your project.
Zelli is a fashion designer, tailor, and teaching artist with over five years of professional experience. A graduate of Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Fashion Design, she has worked across garment construction, alterations, tailoring, costume production, and arts education. She brings hands-on experience in pattern drafting, draping, garment fittings, hand and machine sewing, and textile arts, along with a passion for helping students build creative confidence and craftsmanship.
During this 2-hour class you will learn how to read crochet patterns, practice basic stitches, and make your own crochet coaster. You will leave with the ability to make a variety of crochet projects!
